SPECIAL OHS HOA Meeting, Monday, April 13th at 6:30 pm

Oak Hill South Board is hosting a SPECIAL MEETING to revisit:

  • AMENDING THE DUES – $600 through 2030
  • OPEN BOARD POSITIONS – President & Vice President
  • POND UPDATE – Focused on responses from the city
  • HOA COMMITTEE SIGN UPS

We will hold this meeting in the Community Room at the Mid-Continent Public Library East LS branch (2240 SE Blue Parkway).

Proxy votes will be gathered prior to the meeting, 1 vote per Homeowner, date, and signature are required. They can be written, photo copied, then emailed to us at officers(at)Oakhillsouth.net. Electronically signed proxies are not permitted. The proxy form for this vote is linked below:

HOA Dues Invoices Moving to Email Delivery

To better serve our community and reduce administrative costs, your Oak Hill South HOA dues invoices will be sent to the primary email address we have on file for each homeowner.

Delivering invoices electronically allows us to:

  • Reduce, envelope, printing, and postage expenses
  • Save time in processing and delivery
  • Provide faster, more convenient access to your invoice

No Email on File?

If we do not have an email address for your household, your invoice will continue to be mailed to you as it has been in the past.

If you would like to receive your invoices by email, please submit or update your preferred email address to officers(at)oakhillsouth.net as soon as possible.

New Banking Partner & Expanded Online Payment Options

We are also pleased to announce that we have partnered with Central Bank to offer greater flexibility and improved online payment options.

Homeowners will benefit from:

  • More convenient online payment methods (Apple Pay, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or connect your bank account)
  • Improved payment processing and transferring
  • Enhanced account management flexibility

Additional details regarding payment instructions will be provided with your next invoice. Just a friendly reminder that HOA dues are due by April 1st.

Date & Time: Mark your calendars for Monday, February 23, 2026 at 6:00 pm. Please be sure to RSVP to the invitation on the OHS HOA Facebook Group, if able, so we can get an approximate head count.

📢 HOA Annual Dues Vote — Please Read
We’re asking homeowners to vote YES on the proposed annual dues adjustment to $600 per year ($50/month). This recommendation was made after carefully reviewing our community’s current and future needs. Your dues help ensure we can responsibly maintain and improve our neighborhood. The proposed amount will support:

• Emergency/Reserve Savings — Our HOA currently has no reserve funds for unexpected repairs or emergencies. Building a reserve is essential for the financial health of our community.

• Pond Loan Payoff — We are actively paying down the pond loan, which is currently accruing interest at 8%. Increasing dues helps shorten the repayment period thus reducing long-term costs to the neighborhood.

• Neighborhood Upgrades — Proposed improvements include expansion of pool area for more picnic tables, a sunshade for the pool, updated entrance signage, and enhancements to our common green space and pool area.

• Rising Service Costs — Lawn care, pool & pond maintenance, and related supplies have all increased in cost, as many of you have experienced in your own households.

Current HOA residents, it is our responsibility to ensure that our new neighbors are aware of how to pay their dues and how to contact the HOA board. The board is making strides to communicate this but we may not always immediately be aware of who is new. By taking the time to inform our new neighbors of these important matters, we can help them feel welcomed and supported in our community. Hello HOA families. The post office made a mistake regarding our P.O. Box thinking it was canceled, when it actually wasn’t. So if you received your HOA dues returned to you, You can drop checks off at 1224 SE Warren drive.

2016 Dues

Good morning!  Everyone should have received their 2016 dues letter in the mail no later than last week. Please remember that this is due no later than April 1st.  Please also return a signed copy of the pool rules included in the envelope.  Pool access will not be granted this summer until dues are paid and we have a signed copy of your understanding of the pool rules.  Thank you!
